Chiltern and South Bucks council has extended the consultation period for comments on the Local Plan to midnight on the 23rd August as a procedural error was identified by the Parish Council.
Chalfont St Peter Parish Council has blasted Chiltern District Council’s Local Plan, saying it is not ‘legally compliant’ and not fit for purpose – ‘unsound’ in planning-speak. The council’s views are based on hard-hitting report by its independent consultants.
The Local Plan will drive out the village’s Paccar Scout Camp (50,000 young visitors every year, many from inner London) by allowing the building of 200 homes in the current geenbelt open field, right next door to the scouts, raising safeguarding problems.
The parish council is urging people to sign its form endorsing its objections. If you wish to send a formal response to CDC visit the SENSE website sense4csp.org which has information on how to respond, including a word version of the submission form to ease completion.
