Maria Taylor Charity Christmas Card

With Christmas fast approaching, the trustees of the Maria Taylor Charity are hard at work raising funds for their annual Christmas outreach to the elderly and infirm of the village. This year they will be selling Christmas cards, with the cover taken from an original watercolour painting of the St Peter Parish Church and the carol service which is held outdoors in its churchyard every year.

The painting was created by local artist Gordon King.  Mr King kindly donated his painting to the charity last Christmas with the intention that it could be used to help raise funds for the work the charity does in the village at this time of year.

Cards are priced at £10 for a pack of 8, £5.50 for a pack of 4 or they can be purchased individually for £1.50 each. They can be purchased from Ken Adams (01753 883757), or from the CSP’s parish council offices at 01753 891582.

This year’s outdoor carol service will take place on December the 17th, the last Thursday before Christmas, as usual.
