Quotes are invited from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for a fixed price project to remove asbestos and associated contaminated soil from a green field site within Chalfont St Peter. All works must be carried out in full compliance of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and all other relevant Health & Safety legislation. Works to include all logistics and infrastructure required for the removal of approx. 500 tonnes of contaminated sub soil. The quote must include excavation, loading, transport and disposal of the contaminated material to a licensed disposal facility. Additionally once removal of the contaminated soil is completed appropriate soil testing and reports will need to be provided to certify the soil status as contamination free. If subsequent test results continue to show levels of contamination above the appropriate threshold, then further remediation needs to take place until testing results read at an appropriate level. These works will need to be included as part of the contract price.

Quotes must be sent via post to the Parish Council Clerk, Gravel Hill, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, SL9 9QX or via email on clerk@chalfontstpeter-pc.gov.uk by 3pm on 20th March 2024.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT ADDED 11TH MARCH 2024

All contractors will need to provide a disposal certificate to comply with EPA and Waste Disposal Regulations. 

All quotes will be provided at your own expense, the Parish Council are not liable for any costs incurred to provide the quote.
