Scam Awareness Webinar

Staying safe from scams, doorstep crime & courier fraud (BSL available)

Join this free webinar, for advice on how to spot a scam, how to report one and the ways you can protect yourself & others against them.

We’ll be joined by a guest speaker from Thames Valley Police, to cover doorstep crime & courier fraud.

A BSL interpreter and live subtitles will be available.

This webinar will run for 1hr 30 mins to allow for questions at the end. The session will be held via Microsoft Teams. I will send you the link to join the meeting, the day before the webinar.

There is no requirement to download Microsoft Teams in order to join the event, unless you are using a mobile device which will require the app. This is free of charge.

Play Street 2

Bring your street alive with Play Streets

Play Streets sessions allow groups of neighbours to temporarily close off their road so that children can play safely in the street, creating a safe, imaginative space for children to get outside and enjoy. Everyone is welcome to join in – bring a cup of tea and enjoy socialising outside your home with your neighbours while the children play.

To check whether your street is suitable, email events@buckinghamshire.gov.uk or phone 01296 383 848.

Buckinghamshire Council will support and guide you through setting up your very own Play Street as much as we can. You can find out more by accessing the official webpage.

The application process can take up to 8 weeks, so apply soon to hold your Play Street during the summer holidays.
